Managing Director and Founder
Unlike most consultants, Roger brings high energy, high content, and high humor to every engagement, whether it’s delivering a keynote, teaching a workshop, developing a solution, or coaching an executive.
He excels at helping people shine on stage, in conference rooms, across their desks, and on the telephone. His ability to help others translate complex, technical concepts into clear, actionable intelligence has helped thousands of sales professionals, technical experts, and business leaders influence decisions and improve business performance.
Prior to forming Clearview24 in 2004, Roger was known as The Voice of Gartner, where he spent 17 years in sales, sales training, and product management. He created Gartner Sales University, launched and hosted Gartner’s popular podcast Talking Technology, and shepherded the rollout of dozens of company acquisitions. Before Gartner, Roger was the top producer and national sales manager at Osborne/McGraw-Hill.
Throughout his career, Roger has been called upon to infuse corporate events with insight, energy, and humor. He has moderated panels of business luminaries such as Steve Ballmer, former president and CEO of Microsoft.
Roger holds a BA in speech and psychology from Willamette University, and did post-graduate studies in theatre and broadcasting at San Francisco State University.
Outside of work, Roger enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors. After college, he rode his bicycle across the U.S. (4,700 miles, 87 days, 7 flat tires). He and his son recently backpacked the John Muir Trail.
